The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are now open and can close on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to fulfill the following criteria:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house by using a combined gross domestic earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic earnings won't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and want not post any nsfas 2025 proof of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent residents from homes with combined nsfas 2025 R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
